The density of the population on Bagong Karimata Street will result in increased water usage, so that the waste water produced increases. Unfortunately, in some areas in urban areas, we often encounter several problems of channel conditions that are less considered, such as many piles of garbage and deposits that cause channel capacity to decrease so that it is necessary to update the dimensions of the drainage channel.
The process of analyzing the capacity of this drainage channel is carried out by looking at the value of flood discharge and discharge of residents' waste water. Flood discharge is obtained from rainfall data, catchment area, conveyance coefficient and rainfall intensity with the Gumbel method, Normal method, Log Normal method, and Log Pearson III method which are then tested for suitability with the Chi-Quadrat method and the Smirnov Kolomogorov method. Based on the data analysis that has been done, the rainfall discharge in the 2-year return period is 0.0376 m3/s, the 5-year return period is 0.0563 m3/s, the 10-year return period is 0.0695 m3/s and in the 25-year return period is 0.0871 m3/s. While the discharge of residents of the 2-year return period is 0.0031465 m3 / s, the 5-year return period is 0.0031962 m3 / s, the 10-year return period is 0.0032807 m3 / s, and in the 25-year return period is 0.0035480 m3 / s. So it can be seen that the U-Ditch drainage channel 40/60 can accommodate total discharge in the period up to the next 25 years.
